About Cannon Rocks Beach
The beautiful Cannon Rocks beach is located near the boundary of the Addo Elephant National Park offers awesome kitesurfing opportunities and has hosted kitesurfing competitions which attracts some of the worlds top kiteboarders.
Other beach activities include rock and surf angling which is not only great if you’re a keen fisherman but provides a great photo opportunity for those of you who always have your fact behind the lense.
If you want to get a bit of exercise in you’ll be please to hear there are two hikes that start at Cannon Rocks, the first is a 7km hike that begins at the western side of town and heads out to the beach. The second is a two day hike that needs to be booked through the Addo Elephant Park booking office. Please don’t forget your sunhat, suntan lotion and plenty of water when you’re hiking.
