The Harrismith Country Club is a wonderfully kept course in the humble town of Harrismith. The golf course, famously known for being the third oldest in South Africa, enjoys a wonderful backdrop of the Harrismith Plateau and provides sweeping views over the rest of the town.
The club was originally constructed in 1887 and enjoys a fascinating history, right from its beginning when the town of Harrismith managed to somehow be even smaller than it is today.
The par 72 course is built to a parklands spec with two tee options, one 6529 yards and the other 5446 yards. Visitors are welcome every day of the week, year round.
Other facilities at Harrismith include a bar, halfway house, clubhouse and banquet facilities.
