Old Mill Drift Guest Farm is a family and pet friendly place on a picturesque farm which is surrounded by forest and saturated with natural springs and dams. This mountain getaway is located just 27km from Clarens in the Golden Gate area and is ideal for those looking for a peaceful retreat. With more than 14 km river frontage and nestled in the Maluti Mountains, the scenery is nothing short of spectacular.

The farm's picturesque landscape is enclosed in parts by forest and saturated with 3 natural springs which form various natural pools, 3 dams, small waterfalls which are only available in the summer season. Perfectly suited for couples, families and groups of friends who want to get away from it all.

Self Catering Accommodation

Most of the units have fireplaces (except for student digs and the Wendy houses), verandah's with views as well as their own braai area / fire pit and limited free Wi-Fi. Please see detailed room descriptions and photos below, to assist you with your choice.

On Site Experiences

On-site activities include trails of many types: Hiking, 4x4 trails as well as a training course, MTB, adventure biking, Enduro biking adventure running and horse-riding however guests need to have their own mounts. Other activities include fishing, birding, guided walks, swimming in dams and river, river-tubing, dinosaur site, star, gazing and many more.

This is a beautiful, tranquil property with spectacular scenery. Pet friendly is a bonus. Walking trails, hiking, biking, horses,ponies,donkeys,geese and dogs result in a load of good positive energy to soak up. Comfortable and well prepared accommodation and friendly, helpful hosts. Highly recommend this getaway.
