Feathers Robin's Nest offer comfortable accommodation in Clarens in a private cottage. The cottage is close to the town center of Clarens with picturesque mountain views. The cottages are a 15 minute drive from the Golden Gate Highlands National Park and is a ten minute walk from shops, restaurants and more.

Feathers is a large property with outstanding mountainous views, on-property parking, DSTV Premium, WiFi, braai facilities, and we are dog friendly. We are also within a 10 minute stroll to the Village Square where you can safely walk.

Feathers Robin's Nest consists of a main bedroom furnished with a Queen-size bed. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds, which shares a shower and toilet. The bedrooms are equipped with an electric blankets and in the lounge is a fire place for those chilly nights.

The lounge has fireplace and a TV with DStv. The kitchen is open plan to the lounge which contains a kettle, microwave, fridge, crockery and cutlery.

Feathers Robin's Nest open plan living area and wrap around verandah provide outdoor living space with stunning sunrises and sunsets, a Weber and a shared braai area with The Barbet's Hollow.

The area

Clarens is a tiny Free State village, a little piece of Europe in the middle of nowhere with restaurants, coffee shops, craft and gift shops, decor shops and shops that you won't find anywhere else. The food is excellent and so is the coffee! The landscapes surrounding Clarens are of Lesotho, Golden Gate Mountain Reserve and Mt Horeb. And just about any outdoor activity you can think of, you will find in Clarens. Book a cottage in Clarens where you can park your car and spend the weekend strolling to the Village Square with all the shops and live entertainment. Bring your dogs as there are many trails surrounding Clarens where dogs love to go for walks.

Robin's Nest was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated with beautiful paintings done by the owner. It is in a perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle of the square, but within easy walking distance. There are spectacular views from the house and the garden size was great for our dogs to run around in. My only criticism is that the mattress on the queen size bed was way to soft. I will definitely stay there on my next visit to Clarens.
