Irene Golf Course, Main Road, Irene, Pretoria / The Irene Golf Club has one of the most attractive golf courses imaginable, next to Van der Byl Farm in the small, leafy village of Irene. Irene is only 15 kilometres south-east of Pretoria, yet far removed from city life. There are no factories, the air is fresh and rustic farms dot the land around Irene, which at first glance could easily pass for an English country village.

In keeping with the area, Irene Country Club has a rural, peaceful atmosphere. The course is challenging and well kept and a favourite haunt for many Gauteng golfers wanting 'to get away from it all'.

Directions from Johannesburg
Take Old JHB Rd towards Pretoria - Nelmapius Rd turn Right. Straight on - pass over 3 way stop to Centurion. Pass Irene Country Lodge on your left, Irene Dairy on your right. Main Stop Street - Rail way Bridge in front of you, BP in front to the right. Turn Right, then +/- 500 m = Irene Country Club Entrance on your right.
