About Little Mongena Tented Camp
Little Mongena Tented Camp offers accommodation in an intimate lodge situated on the banks of the Mongena Dam. The lodge is a short 90 minute drive from OR Tambo International Airport and 40 minutes from Pretoria. Situated within the 8000ha of Mongena Game Lodge, the camp is part of the greater Dinokeng Game Reserve which spans 18 500ha.

Accommodation
Little Mongena Tented Camp is a gem lodge with ten tented suites. Each tented suite has a King-size bed or twin beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower toilet and basin.
Each suite has air conditioning, a mini-safe, a tea / coffee station and a hairdryer. Outside each tented suite is a covered patio with chairs which overlook the dam.
The main lodge has a fully stocked bar, a comfortable guest lounge, dining area and a boma.

Brunch, substantial high-tea and dinner are included in the rates and are served daily.
Activities
Morning and evening game drives are included in the rates and are conducted in custom built 10-seater game drive vehicles. There is also a Sundowner Boat Cruise which is subject to availability. Children 6-11 years will be permitted on Game Drive but at the sole discretion of the guide. Children 5 years and younger are not permitted on Game Drive.

Dinokeng Game Reserve which spans 18 500ha, is home to pristine bushveld, free-roaming Big 5, rhino, an abundance of bird life and diverse general plains game population. This is a malaria free area. . The camp is uniquely positioned within a private concession on the banks of the 30ha Mongena Dam, offering guests the ultimate safari experience.
