About Randpark Golf Club

The Randpark Golf Club is a tale of two handsomely chiselled golf courses. Bushwillow, the new name for the Windsor 12, was originally established in 1946 before being completely redesigned by the legendary Bob Grimsdell in 1952.

April 2012, as part of the course’s 70th anniversary, Windsor saw another “facelift” and it would ultimately be renamed Bushwillow too. Bushwillow features some exciting areas of play on the course and you may well have already of the “Amen Corner, The Bear Trap and The Gauntlet.” If you haven’t, you are of course invited to find out first-hand just what they are.

The second course, the younger of the two is Firethorn. Designed by Sid Brews in the 1970’s Firethorn, though the younger of the two, has certainly matured into another great South African course. Retouches and in some cases, complete reconstructions, have been facilitated by Golf Data to keep Firethorn in top condition. At 7014m don’t for a second think that it’s going to be an easy day out.

Facilities abound at Randpark Golf Club and they provide the full range including: “Two highly regarded, distinctive 18-hole golf courses, Bushwillow and Firethorn to accommodate up to 180 Golfers for Golf Events; a practice putting green; s short game practice facility; a well-stocked Pro Shop; floodlit driving range; club-hire facility from the Pro Shop and more.

The Fairway Hotel & Spa is situated on the Randpark Golf Course, 2km from Cresta Shopping Centre in Johannesburg, this slick Johannesburg hotel provides the ultimate destination for golf tournaments and leisure guest in a tranquil environment.
