Mari and Brian welcome you to the Woodpecker Inn, which is an affordable yet luxurious guest house, situated in the prestigious Woodhill residential and golfing estate, Pretoria East. Only some 50 meters from the clubhouse, on the l8th fairway overlooking the 9th and 18th green with its two dams where ducks and geese frolic in the water whilst an abundance of birds look on.

The Woodpecker Inn is in close proximity to Johannesburg International Airport, whilst other excellent golf courses in and around Pretoria are available to our guests with The Gary Player and Lost City golf courses and the Pilanesberg game reserve only a 100 minute drive from the Inn. Top class medical facilities, shopping malls and excellent recommended restaurants are all within a 15 minute drive.

ACCOMMODATION

This 5-Star guest house is luxuriously decorated with stained glass windows and comfortable furnishings and a beautiful indoor waterfall. Surround sound in the lounge area with its cosy bar creates a wonderful golfing atmosphere.

The Woodpecker Inn offers 6 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a television, a DVD player as well as a refrigerator with refreshments for your personal use. The rooms have a spectacular view over the golf course and dams. All rooms have balconies.

Woodhill Residential Estate and Country Club, situated in the plush eastern suburbs of Pretoria, offers strikingly beautiful vistas of the city. We had stayed here during the World Cup season (May 30-June 2, 2010). We enjoyed this place so much that we ended up coming back here in July. Marnie was a great host, we wanted to stay there longer but unfortunately it was booked, however she still helped us with other accommodation and transportation. We definitely recommend this place, it was a great time!
