Wildways Bush Camp is situated in the malaria-free Pride of Africa Nature Reserve within the newly acclaimed Dinokeng Big 5 Game Reserve. With Wildways Bush Camp you can now enjoy a true African Experience as well as Africa's iconic Big 5 only an hour's drive from Johannesburg.

Self Catering Accommodation

Wildways Bush Camp has three fully equipped, two bedroom and two bathroom self-catering chalets.

Each Chalet as two air-conditioned bedrooms furnished with twin beds (crisp linen and soft towels provided) with ample cupboard space. The main en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bath, toilet and basin. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Soap and shampoo are provided.

The chalets have hot running water, a comfortable lounge, a kitchen equipped with a stove and oven, microwave oven, fridge, kettle, cutlery, crockery and breakfast nook.

Each chalet has its own private Boma braai area where intimate meals can be enjoyed next to the fire under the stars, or on a large shaded and furnished veranda with a view of the bush. All braai utensils are provided. Firewood is for sale at the camp.

Enjoy a relaxed and lazy afternoon by our beautiful rock-art pool area.

Experiences

Morning and afternoon Big 5 Game Drives are available at an additional cost, with the opportunity of viewing and encountering some of Africa's truly iconic animals and over 260 bird species.

Wildways Bush Camp boasts some of the best Big 5 game viewing opportunities in South Africa with spectacular sightings of Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Cheetah, Zebra, Giraffe, Hippo, Brown Hyena and many different species of antelope as well as an incredible array of birdlife.

For the more adventurous type, mountain biking and walking is available (bring your own bicycle) in a 120 hectare fenced off area with a collection of roads cutting through prime bushveld, look out for the occasional Zebra, Nyala, Blesbok or Impala that inhabit the Big 5 free 120 hectare area.

Permits to use the Self Drive Route can be purchased at the main gates of the Reserve. Users of the Self Drive Route have a choice of three different picnic sites situated along the route.
