Enjoy Stamvrug Hiking Trails

Enjoy a series of hiking trails through the stunning nature reserve. There is a fabulous two day backpacking trail with an overnight stop at the Stamvrug hut, which is a popular choice amongst fellow hikers.

Various other day trails are available to choose from should you prefer, allowing you to choose a route suitable to your fitness level and time available. You are best setting off early in the morning to make the most of your chosen trail and to ensure you spot more wildlife during the first part of the day.

There are some fantastic spots to stop where you can swim along the way and spectacular views to admire. If you are up for more adventure there are great spots for rock climbing.
