Kransberg Country Lodge is situated 25km outside the town Thabazimbi in the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve.

Located on the border of the Marakele National Park, the lodge offers a tranquil getaway and is popular for its location below cliffs that act as a breeding ground for a large colony of the endangered species of Cape Vulture.

Accommodation

Kransberg Country Lodge has six en-suite bedrooms. Four rooms have double beds and two have two single beds. All six rooms have ceiling fans. Rooms 1, 2 and 3 have garden views from the veranda and Rooms 4, 5 and 6 have mountain views.

There is a comfortable lounge area and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a garden at this property and guests can go cycling, enjoy nature walks or relax outside on the veranda. Braai facilities are available.

Activities

Guests can enjoy spectacular scenery from many walking trails that we have in the vicinity of the lodge. The walks range from relaxing walks to steep climbs up to the cliffs that overhang the lodge.

The more energetic guests can enjoy mountain biking or running around the area. The Big 5 can be viewed at Marakele National Park and Ben Albert Golf Course is nearby for the golfers.
