AfriCamps Waterberg is a tranquil bushveld glamping camp located in the heart of the Waterberg plateau in Limpopo. The camp offers a range of activities amidst serene bush scenery. Situated 2,5 hours from Pretoria, the camp is easily accessible and provides an opportunity to experience the unspoiled wilderness of the Waterberg Biosphere. Located within a 2500-hectare game reserve, this camp offers a family-friendly wildlife experience in a malaria-free environment.

Self Catering Accommodation

AfriCamps Waterberg custom made tents are fully furnished and equipped for five guests each.

Each AfriCamps tent consists of an outdoor wood-fired hot tub or splash pool, a spacious open-plan lounge area with a comfortable couch, a dining area with a solid wooden table and seating for five guests, a fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms that comfortably sleeps five guests, and a bathroom complete with a spacious rain shower.

Both bedrooms are furnished with an extra-length Queen-size bed and have their own private entrance which allows maximum privacy. One of the bedrooms also contains a single bunk bed. Our tents are equipped with an indoor fireplace and ceiling fans.

Enjoy a braai on our spacious wooden decks and take in the views from the comfortable deck loungers. Pull up the front and side panels and transform the tent into a large outdoor living area. Unwind and appreciate a festive family breakfast while taking in the serene natural beauty of the South African landscape.

Cleaning services and fresh towels (complimentary during four-night stays). We offer a complimentary basic cleaning service for four-night stays or longer.

AfriCamps Waterberg operates entirely on solar power providing guests with an uninterrupted power supply regardless of load shedding.

The reserve offers a wide variety of facilities and activities onsite, ensuring that guests have a memorable and comfortable stay. Guests can spot numerous wildlife species, including blesbok, giraffe, zebra, eland, wildebeest, roan, tsessebe, sable, buffalo, kudu, and waterbuck.

The farm's 15 m semi-heated swimming pool offers a perfect spot to cool off during hot summers, while the lookout decks provide endless bushveld views. The adventure playground is a favorite amongst kids, and for those seeking a bit of friendly competition, the property offers a volleyball court.
