Marataba Safari Lodge, in the Marakele National Park, is a simple extension of the natural environment beyond its walls – rich, bold, organic and patently magnificent. If you sit quietly for long enough, you can feel the energy of the countless people who have made this place home since The Stone Age.

With 15 luxury Tented Suites, this is the place to come together with good friends and loved ones, or to wile away hours in your own company enjoying a spa treatment, lying at the poolside, or simply absorbing the view of the mountains on the horizon. Stylish contemporary décor and grand open spaces have all been designed to bring the great outdoors in.

Families will find a home from home; a place to unwind in comfort, with children living their best life at the hands of our expert caregivers who captain the Mack & Madi Kids' Adventure Club. Safari Lodge welcomes children of all ages. Your children will learn how to track animals, camp in the bush, watch outdoor movies under the stars all while immersing themselves in nature. They will love the sense of freedom and adventure while making new friends.
