About Lindani Maroela Cottage

Lindani Maroela is a charming cottage offering accommodation in Vaalwater, set beneath a giant Maroela tree and overlooking a well-frequented water hole. The cottage has easy access to mountain bike and hiking trails. Guests have the freedom to explore the whole property when it suits them – we only request they respect the privacy of all the other guests (no quad bikes, motorbikes and no night drives).

Self Catering Accommodation

Lindani Maroela is a self catering holiday cottage in Vaalwater sleeping four guests. The cottage has two bedrooms, each with King-size beds which can be converted into twin beds. The downstairs room has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The upstairs room has a toilet and basin only. There is an outside shower.

There is a well equipped kitchen containing everything required. There are no electric kettles, toasters or hair dryers. Hot water is supplied by a gas geyser. No plug points available, please bring a car/laptop charger if you need it. No dishwasher.

There is a dining table and lounge with a fireplace. Outside there is a patio with seating, a braai area and a plunge pool.

Dining

Lodges are available on a self-catering or catered basis. Guests can order a selection of freshly prepared meals from the Lindani Farm Kitchen, with meal orders required at least 5 days prior to arrival.

Housekeeping

Housekeeping services and options are available at an additional cost and can be enquired upon booking.

Activities

• Game drives -can be booked for the early morning or late afternoon. Book at least a day ahead of time. Additional costs apply. No self-drive in evenings
• Game Viewing -Guided and Self Drive is available to experience Lindanis biodiversity of wild life including giraffe and a variety of plains game.
• Hiking Trails –Routes ranging from 6km to 12km. Guided hikes are available upon request at an additional cost

• Fishing on a catch and release basis. Own fishing equipment is required.
