The lodge, which is only a few minutes' drive from the Botswana border, is ideal for a stop before or after crossing the border (we used both at a two-week interval) and the facilities, but above all the atmosphere, are ideal for relaxing after a long approach or before a long onward journey. Petra and Pieter run the lodge very nice, taking care of all the details themselves and, together with a garden center and a small antique shop, have created a spacious and lovingly designed retreat, initially for themselves and now for all their guests. The interaction with the guest is extremely warm and open, the operators take care of every detail in the pretty and very clean chalets, including self-switching emergency lamps for the occasional breaks in the power supply. Beautiful sanitary area with a large (and hot) shower, top WiFi with its own access point in each chalet. For our taste a rich and varied breakfast, but above all excellent dinner - we had excellent game - with home-baked ingredients for the dessert. Actually much too nice for a single night... Excellent value for money.
