About Moegatle 4x4 Trail
The Moegatle 4x4 Trail can be found approximately 30km from Brits and is 34km route which takes between six and eight hours to complete. The difficulty grading is between two and five and presents a variety of challenges for all driving abilities.
You have the option to drive this trail either guided or unguided and there is even an option to receive 4x4 training. This is a trail that can be accessed year round.
The trail is known in the 4x4 community as one of the three "Terror Trails". You’ll have a host of driving situations to tackle including the unusual combination for water, mud, sand, loose and solid rock. There are various escape routes at the difficult sections.
