About Tres Jolie
Tres Jolie is a beautiful country estate complete with a fully licensed restaurant, wedding, conference and function venue amongst tranquil gardens and wide-open surroundings. We are located in the centre of Ruimsig, and right on the border of Muldersdrift, one of South Africa's fast-developing areas.
Our open-air and indoor restaurant is the perfect meeting place for families and friends, business people, residents, scholars and tourists, making us the perfect venue for any special occasion. Tres Jolie is a fully licensed child-friendly venue. Therefore children are always welcome; we have ample facilities to entertain them.
Tres Jolie is accessible to all major centers of Gauteng and the tranquil country estate presents an ideal location for the bride and groom on their wedding day. Characterized by exquisite gardens and landscaped with fountains and water features this picturesque wedding venue offers a unique blend of African colonial architecture and European country living.
Wedding Venues
FOUNTAIN COURT:
Wrought iron balconies frame massive railway sleeper doors through which guests enter into this baronial hall. Chandeliers hang from exposed beams and a huge fireplace determines a character of understated elegance in a space that has been designed to accommodate 80 guests or extend its functionality to accommodate 250 guests.
Dining Room
This semi private dining room is situated just off the main restaurant and is ideal for small intimate weddings. This venue which can accommodate a maximum of 30 guests has large windows overlooking the garden creating an indoor-outdoor feel. It is also the ideal venue to provide your own décor items to reflect your personal style.
COURTYARD
The fire place, candle chandeliers, antique paint techniques and private enclosed courtyard create an intimate atmosphere ideally suited to smaller weddings. The venue can accommodate up to 80 guests with a dance floor.
Wedding Chapels
We offer you a choice of either an indoor or outdoor wedding chapel at Tres Jolie:
INDOORS
Our indoor chapel, is built out of stone, with exposed beams, wrought iron chandeliers and balconies and massive railway sleeper doors. The chapel can seat up to 250 guests.
OUTDOOR CHAPEL
Our outdoor garden chapel nestles in between flowerbeds and has a gazebo, which we drape with meters of white chiffon to create a nostalgic picture of graceful elegance.
Wedding Photographs
Country Wedding Venue with Picturesque Gardens and Water Features. Lush manicured gardens, with beds of seasonal flowers, makes this wedding venue an ideal spot for creating photographic memories. Water features and fountains, secluded benches and interesting archways create a variety of spectacular wedding photo opportunities.
Wedding Planning
Tres Jolie offers the service of an experienced wedding co-coordinator to plan every detail of your wedding décor. It is our pleasure to work out a detailed quote on all aspects of your wedding from floral arrangements to photography to music and styling. Our experience is placed at your disposal to alleviate your stress and enhance your peace of mind.
Conferences
We are a conference venue that offers a professional corporate service within a relaxed country atmosphere. Competitively priced our venues cater to your corporate and conference needs whether small and intimate or large and grand. Tres Jolie has two conference venues - Petit fleur and fountain court:
THE COURTYARD
Seats up to 70 delegates and has a beautiful private courtyard where delegates can enjoy el fresco dining during their breaks.
FOUNTAIN COURT
Can accommodate up to 300 delegates and is ideal for large conferences or corporate launches.
Our beautiful landscaped gardens lend themselves to lunch on the lawn - a perfect break for your delegates during a busy and intense schedule. The extensive grounds provide the perfect landscape for team building exercises.
RESTAURANT
“An Adult Restaurant for Kids…”
Tres Jolie is a country restaurant and venue. Characterized by exquisite gardens this charming restaurant also boasts a farmyard where children can feed the animals, enjoy a pony ride and play whilst under the watchful eye of their parents.

We had my dad's 60th Birthday Party here at Tres Jolie on the 10th of June 2017. Great venue with very professional staff. Kerry Attwell was amazing and very helpful. We opted for the braai menu which went with the theme we chose. The food was done perfectly and was very tasty. Their prices are very reasonable and worth it. I would recommend Tres Jolie for any function even for the kiddies. Will defiintely be back. Thank you to all at Tres Jolie for the excellent service. Chantelle Muller and Family.

Dear Nicole and Adele I cannot believe it is behind us now! Of course there is a certain amount of relief that we can get back to life without a wedding to plan. But It is so wonderful to be able to say that it was everything we had hoped and worked for! So many people have complimented us on how special it was. I can say that Michelle’s creativity and determination to do it a certain way played a big role in that but at the end of the day we couldn’t have done it without your expertise and magnificent venue. Thank you so much for ALL your input in so many different ways and for making it the very special day it was! I think my greatest fears were the cheese ‘cake’ and welcome area and the rain! The cheese ‘cake’ turned out to be an incredible success- people didn’t stop talking about it , and thank you for handling it so well ( injuries and all-sorry!) and of course we were blessed with the most amazing weather! Nicole thank you for your very calm and encouraging spirit on the day- it went a long way to calming my nerves and I felt much more relaxed then I expected to be . Adele thank you for all your experienced advice! In the end that “dreadful” jumping castle turned out to be a photo shoot feature...... I would especially like to commend your staff on that day. Their friendliness and service was exceptional and had a huge influence on making the evening a success. Thank you for all the help we got in packing everything away including cleaning the chocolate fountains which were such a mess by then – all done with a smile and much appreciated by us. Please extend our grateful thanks to Bernard and his team for an excellent job ! I almost feel I could be a ‘wedding planner’ now but of course I realise that there is much more to it than that!
