Accommodation

Mokuru Private Nature Reserve, while it is self-catering, has a dedicated Lodge Manager and Lodge Assistant at your service. There are two chalets, a main camp and a Bundu bungalow camp.

Game drives are offered as at an additional cost. On a game drive to one of our waterholes or dams, guests can admire these magnificent creatures up close while immersing themselves in the natural sounds and scents of the bush.

Mokuru Private Game Reserve also offers an array of activities, including hiking trails and nearby attractions such as Sun City. Guests can also indulge in fishing at Vaalkop Dam or Roodekoppies Dam, adding an extra layer of excitement to their African safari experience. The Luxury Main Camp rooms are air-conditioned. There are two rooms furnished with double beds and they have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. There are four rooms furnished with three-quarter beds that share a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The kitchen has a stove and the lounge has comfortable seating. Pathways lead through the trees and granite boulders to the lapa, braai and pool.

This Camp has three wooden bungalows furnished with two single beds and have a fan, insect repellents, bath and swimming towels. The shared kitchen is fully equipped. All meals have to be cooked on the open fire. Tin mugs and plates are part of the necessary kitchen utensils as well as cast iron potjies, frying pan and grids. Guests have access to a lapa and an open-air communal bathroom The camp has access to the communal swimming pool.
