The six kilometre downhill dash on a Monster Mountain Scootour takes you through indigenous forests and pine plantations, over rivers, and above the magnificent De Kaap and Elands valleys.

To start this adventure, you will leave from the historical little village of Kaapsehoop in a rugged vehicle, which will take you up into the forests and hills of Mpumalanga. Then, climb on your Scootour and begin your fun descent. This adventure requires no fuel or peddling, relying only on gravity to whisk you through the gorgeous terrain. The mist of these mountains makes this an even more magical experience.

The scooters used are not motorized, which means that this is a quiet, eco-friendly activity for the whole family. Children over 10 years old can go on their own scooter, while those between four and nine can hop on their parent’s scooters. All tours are guided, ensuring the safety of the riders.
