About AM Lodge

Located in the pristine Klaserie region AM Lodge brings together all aspects of its surroundings to create meaningful experiences that you will remember forever! AM Lodge is a five star lodge inspired by the colours and contours of the Lowveld landscape while water features remind one of the Klaserie River.

Accommodation

The soothing sight and sound of water greets visitors upon their arrival and flows beneath a wooden walkway that links the reception at the entrance to the main public area. A number of seating and dining areas are scattered along the timber decks, each one with its own appeal, be it overlooking the rim-flow pool or under outstretched limbs of trees, all in light, natural hues in harmony with the surroundings.

A chic indoor dining area is located on the opposite end; the earthen design offset by a handful of glamorous showpieces such as the eye-catching light fittings. The chefs at AM Lodge strive to make each meal memorable, from the mouth-watering breakfast spreads to authentic African meals served around a crackling fire at the boma.

Luxury and Superior Suites:
These luxury private retreats have large picture windows and folding doors along the front allowing maximum light to enter, and the elevated thatch roofs add to the feeling of space, although these suites are by no means small. Each unit has a bedroom, separate lounge and oversized bathroom, all simply decorated with quality furnishings in light, natural shades to complement the elements of wood, glass and stone.

The bathrooms are designed to be enjoyed with enormous free-standing bathtubs that look out onto nature through a glass wall, and indoor and outdoor showers separated by double glass doors. The bedroom and lounge of each suite opens up onto a private deck, with a pathway leading to your very own boma set upon a wooden pavilion hidden away among the trees.

The superior suites also have their own private plunge pools, making them ideal for that extra-special occasion. All suites have DStv, air-conditioning, tea / coffee-making facilities and hair dryers.

AM Villa:
AM Villa is a modern exclusive-use three-bedroom house located in the heart of the reserve, ideal for small groups of up to six guests. It is a comfy, elegant home and the villa comprises a comfortable lounge with flat-screen TV and DStv, dining room, three en-suite bedrooms with luxury interiors that reflect the light, contemporary style of the main lodge, large rim-flow pool, and a deck with plenty of sun-loungers and sofas so that everyone can find themselves a spot in the sunshine.

With a private chef at your disposal to expertly prepare all your meals around your preferred schedule, you and your party can enjoy the tranquility of the bush next to the pool, join one of the excursions on offer to experience the bush or explore the Lowveld, or take the opportunity to be pampered at the wellness centre at the main lodge.

Wellness Centre

The Wellness Centre at the Lodge is no ordinary spa; the soothing sound of water will set the tone of what is to come! The centre captures the tranquility of the bush and is a serene haven where you can indulge in the treatments on offer, soak in the Jacuzzi or use the fitness centre equipment. Make use of the swimming pool or relax on one of the sun loungers.

Location

AM Lodge are located on a private reserve in the Klaserie region. The conservancy is home to a range of animals including buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and several antelope species.
