Matumi Golf Lodge is a 5 Star graded Golf Lodge offering guests fine accommodation in the Nelspruit area situated in the tranquil and secure environment of the Matumi Golf Estate - your gateway to Mpumalanga, South Africa's province of the Rising Sun.
Just 25km from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, the Lodge is situated very close to the world renowned Kruger National Park, with the nearest entrance gate to the park being less than one hour's drive away.
Accommodation
Matumi Golf Lodge offers seven spacious luxuriously furnished rooms, tastefully decorated to create a relaxed, sophisticated yet homely atmosphere after a long day for the travelling professional, aspiring golfer or international holidaymaker alike.
Rooms are comprised of three different categories: ‘Deluxe / Luxury Rooms' and the ‘Executive / Honeymoon Suite' each catering for the individual requirements of residing guests. These differences are mainly attributed to bathroom fixtures and fittings, bed types and overall room size

Breakfast
Breakfast at Matumi Golf Lodge is undoubtedly the highlight of our day. The Full Breakfast included in the room rate consists of a selection of cereals, freshly baked muffins, pancakes or croissants, fresh seasonal fruits, a variety of cold meats and cheese.
This is followed by a hot breakfast of your choice ordered from our Menu and prepared by the chef. Special dietary requirements will gladly be entertained, which can be stipulated during reservations.
Additional Facilities
The bar area provides a warm environment in which to relax around the fire stove on those cold winter evenings, while during warmer weather, watching the sun set over the fairways from the outside patio is the ideal way to end one's day.
The pool deck with its commanding views of the Crocodile River Valley and Mpumalanga's Lower Escarpment, provides the ideal place to laze away those hot Lowveld summer days.
Activities
The area also forms part of ‘The Lowveld Birding Route' which includes the Hazyview, Barberton, Nelspruit and Malelane areas as well as the southern Kruger National Park. As well as being a popular habitat for various species of birds, the golf estate is also home to a small variety of animal inhabitants, ranging from porcupines to a small antelope known as duikers which roam freely across the rolling fairways of the golf course.
