About Baobab Ridge Lodge
Baobab Ridge Lodge is a private lodge situated in the prestigious Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, which forms part of the Kruger National Park. Providing exclusive and affordable accommodation it offers guests beautiful bush-veld landscapes with an excellent possibility of coming face to face with the Big 5' in their natural habitat.
During the hot summer days you can relax in your cool air conditioned private cottage, in the breeze of your private terrace or on the pool deck overlooking the waterhole, with a view into the pristine African wilderness.

Accommodation
Baobab Ridge Lodge has six, one bedroom cottages, one, two bedroom cottage and one Family Unit. Cottages are air-conditioned and are built on raised decks with a terrace and outside furniture. Rooms are en-suite with a bath, shower and two hand basins. There is an open lounge area with two couches, a table, fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
The main lodge building has a small board room, bar, lounge with DStv, outdoor terraces, dining room and Wi-Fi. During the evening there is a fire in the Boma perfect for relaxing around with a drink! The swimming pool overlooks a small waterhole game spotting while you enjoy a refreshing swim!

Walking safaris these are subject to availability so please request in advance. A minimum age of 16 is enforced for walks

The Nature Reserve
The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is part of the Greater Kruger National Park and open to the Kruger National Park and Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. As there is no fencing separating the reserve from the Kruger or the Timbavati; animals are able to roam freely between the private game reserves and the Kruger Park.
The professionally trained guides who accompany you on drives or walks are expert rangers and are in contact with other lodge vehicles, greatly increasing your chances of finding the wildlife that you want to see. Some of the other game found in our area, are giraffe, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, warthog, porcupine, African wild cat, honey badger, genets, bush babies, kudu, zebra, wild dog, cheetah, pangolin, aardvark, hyena and hippo. Birding in this area is spectacular.
