Last Word Kitara offers Klaserie accommodation alongside the Kruger National Park, our fenceless neighbour to the east, is the most exclusive address in the Greater Kruger. Discover our world of free-roaming wildlife from the comfort of you private suite, our inviting viewing deck or our sparkling infinity pool overlooking the Klaserie River.

Accommodation

Our six spacious suites, set along the Klaserie River, offer sweeping views of the pristine riverside setting. Suites are adjoining but not interleading and are furnished with King-size beds. All are en-suite fitted with a shower, separate bathtub, toilet and basin, and for the more adventurous, an outdoor shower.

All the rooms have air conditioning, fully stocked mini bars, mosquito nets, mosquito repellent, gowns, slippers, hairdryer, umbrella, safe, tea / coffee, complimentary sherry and toiletries. In room massages are available on request.

Drink in the tranquil bushscapes from your private balcony. The classic décor style, inspired by nature, is imbued with dreamy accents of Africa. Retire to your exclusive cocoon, lulled to sleep by the melee of hypnotic night time sounds.

There are two guest lounges overlooking the Klaserie River, a dining area and a viewing deck with sensational views. Guests can make use of the infinity swimming pool, the bar and the boma. There is a library and free Wi-Fi.

Mealtimes are always a celebration, whether at the main lodge beneath an 800-year old Jackalberry tree, picnicking out in the African bushveld or, in our adjacent characterful boma beneath a star-studded night sky. Our chefs delight in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, and their South African speciality recipes, is in high demand. Our staff are proud to introduce you to a taste of our vibrant Shangaan culture through local dance.
