This lodge rates itself as a 5 star lodge while having the worst infestation of cockroaches I have seen in my life. There were cockroaches crawling even IN the fridge, which impeded me from leaving any food leftovers in the apparel. The worst though, was the state of the infrastructure of the house they rented us out. Two walls had visible infiltrations, bathrooms had almost no soap or shampoo provided (again, this is a 5 star hotel) and all bathroom showers had horrible leakages - wetting the entire bathroom when we took a shower. But the worst was when during our second night, we were hit with a terrible storm and the entire WALL of the living room became a waterfall. The water would enter from the top of the wall all the way down, inundating the entire living room floor, including reaching the electric cables of the TV (which by the way, the TV screen was also messed up) putting our lives and the lives of our 4 children in danger. When I called reception they said they could only come by AFTER the rain was done as they had no umbrellas. When asked for more towels, as we used all of ours to try and soak up the flood, they had none. They then offered us to change to a one bedroom apartment at 1 in the morning. This was obviously not viable as we were 7 people (including nanny and an infant ).
