About Heuglins Lodge
Heuglins is a small self catering establishment in secure surroundings, offering guests a warm personal welcome. Arrive as a guest and you will leave as a friend.
Heuglins was originally a farm and has kept the appeal of a farm, while offering the security of an estate. The Lodge is situated on Sheffield Estate, on the outskirts of White River and once on the Estate, guests can enjoy a walk to one of our dams or relax in the garden.
Self Catering Accommodation
Our cottages are superbly appointed and independent of each other. Each cottage has a kitchen area with a microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, induction cooking plate and a small Weber braai. The cottages are also equipped with pots, frying pan, cutler crockery and kitchen utensils.

Location
Heuglins is an ideal stopover for a trip to the Kruger National Park, a place to stay whilst visiting the excellent schools in the area, a secure environment for business to be conducted or a merely a well earned break from the pressures of everyday living. Whatever the reason for visiting, the tranquillity of the gardens and surroundings engulf the guests and tensions slip away.
Heuglins Lodge is well situated, being 5km from White River and its excellent shops and restaurants, 22km from the provincial capital, Nelspruit, 42km from Sabie and the waterfalls and 45km from the Numbi Gate Entrance to the Kruger National Park. The spectacular Panarama Route can easily be covered in a day from our lodge.
Activities
Heuglins offers birding, walks and fishing in a secure environment and horse riding a few minutes away. The ‘personal touch' is the corner stone of our business and we make every effort to meet all the needs of our guests.
