Warmth and welcome await you at The Palms, one of Nelspruit's most popular and established guesthouses, operational since 1995. Bordering a nature reserve the lush sub-tropical gardens offer superb views and an abundance of bird life, creating an ambiance of peace and tranquility.

NELSPRUIT ACCOMMODATION

All rooms are en-suite and all are individually appointed with your comfort in mind. Each room has TV, radio, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryers, ceiling fans or air conditioning, free WIFI and many other personal little touches. The rooms are all non-smoking but most rooms do have direct outside access to the gardens and the many secluded outside seating areas. The accommodation includes family rooms, double and twin-bedded rooms and single rooms.

DINING

Breakfast is served in the charming breakfast room overlooking the gardens and swimming pool. A continental breakfast is available and also full English breakfast cooked to order. Excellent home cooked evening meals are available on request but must be booked before noon. Packed lunches by arrangement.

FACILITIES

Within the house there is a delightful guest lounge with double doors opening on to the balcony where guests can enjoy the balmy summer evenings. In the winter the roaring log fire is very atmospheric and the room offers DStv, family games, a small library and refreshment bar. Also available are Braai facilities, Swimming pool and onsite free parking with night guard.

Although the location of The Palms offers total escapism from the bustle of town life all the facilities guests could be seeking are a stones throw away. The Riverside Mall with the cinemas and casino, I'langa Mall, medical centre's, Mbombela Stadium, the CBD, Government offices and all local businesses are within ten minutes. Many excellent restaurants are also easily accessible.

LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS

The property is in an enviable location in the leafy suburbs of Nelspruit and yet within minutes of all that the town has to offer. Situated on a hill top the views from the house and balcony are superb and the gardens provide many quiet seating areas, including a gazebo.

Many local beauty spots and places of interest such as the Kruger Park and Panorama Route are within one hour. A trip to Blyde River Canyon taking in the waterfalls at Sabie, the historic mining town of Pilgrims Rest and Bourkes Luck potholes creates a lovely days outing. Closer to home are the Sudwala Caves, The Chimpanzee sanctuary, the Botanical Gardens and the country shopping experience at Casterbridge. All of this and much more makes Nelspruit a perfect base for the holiday maker. The Palms is just the place to return to after a long days exploring.
