Thanda Tau celebrates everything that makes this country so exquisitely unique in one elegant space. The microbrewery here is no exception. This brewery has been designed to reflect timeless style and an absolute passion for delicious beer.

There is a maximum capacity of 15 000 litres per month, with each brew totalling about 875 litres. Each delicious golden ale takes between four and six weeks to complete, and the process is fascinating to learn more about. Those visiting Thanda Tau can see the boiler, fermentation tanks, hot liquor tanks and mash tun as they work together to produce delicious beers.

Thanda Tau’s microbrewery has four core beers that they brew on site. These are the:

Biscuit Ale - a light blonde ale that is smooth and easy to drink
American Pale Ale - a deep gold, medium-bodied option
Indian Pale Ale - a hoppy beer with plenty of flavour
Irish Stout - rich and hearty, this has distinct coffee and chocolate nuances
