About Microlight Flights and Skydiving

The Dolphin Coast of South Africa is a magnificent stretch, where sandy beaches and the Indian Ocean put on an extraordinary show. It includes the pretty holiday towns of Ballito, Umdloti, Zinkwazi, and Salt Rock. All of this scenic loveliness can be experienced by soaring over it in the absolute freedom of a microlight.

ComeFly is based on a private airfield along the N2 highway, where the airspace is uncontrolled and the coast is a mere two kilometres away. These microlight trips range from seven minutes to an hour, and give adventurers the opportunity to soar over the magnificent landscapes of KwaZulu-Natal with the fresh air and sunshine on their face. From these breath-taking heights, you will travel over the sugarcane fields, rolling jade-coloured hills, and unspoilt serene beaches that stretch on and on.

Depending on the time you have available, flights may extend from Tinley Manor (the base from which they all begin) all the way up to the Tugela River Mouth, or past the coastal towns of Ballito, Zimbali and Salt Rock.

Owner and operator of ComeFly, David Daniel, works closely with a group of experienced and accomplished microlight pilots to ensure that visitors get to enjoy the thrill of flight with the comfort of knowing that they are in the safest of hands.

Microlighting is weather-dependent, so all bookings should be confirmed the afternoon before, just in case weather conditions are not playing along. Bookings and enquiries can be done by calling or text messaging ComeFly on (+27) 842663359, or via email. Closed shoes, long trousers (pants) and a windbreaker are a must for microlight passengers.

These sky-bound adventures are fantastic for anyone over the age of nine years and weighing less than 120 kilograms (264 pounds). For an additional fee, a DVD of your flight can be bought as a keepsake.

ComeFly promises a unique and memorable way of experiencing the Dolphin Coast and KwaZulu-Natal.
