Known locally as the Dolphin Coast, Salt Rock is located on a magnificent coastline with golden beaches, superb surfing, fishing and safe swimming conditions, set amidst a tropical climate.

Zuider Zee Guest House has everything to offer the holidaymaker, or businessperson, with a relaxed atmosphere and tranquil surroundings. The bustling port of Durban is just 50km away and the King Shaka Airport a mere 37 km. We are situated just 800m from the main beach of Salt rock and close to all amenities. Whether your aim is business or pleasure, honeymoon or a much needed breakaway, you will experience a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

Accommodation

Zuider Zee Guest House offers affordable and comfortable Private Guest rooms en suite, B&B or self catering, and two self catering Log Cabins set in a lush, peaceful garden with lovely views of the valley below and the ocean in the distance.

Please note if you're travelling with children, children can only be accommodated in the Family Unit (Log Cabin 'Tree Tops').

We do not allow pets as we have our own cats.

Services & Facilties

All rooms are fully serviced daily, linen and towels supplied and equipped for self catering with ceiling fans, satellite TV, M-Net, DVD player, coffee / tea facility, clock radio, hairdryer, safe, and a bar fridge. All are en suite, and have private entrances, patios and braai / BBQ facilities, with spectacular valley and sea views. WiFi hotspot.

All Units have a crisp fresh feel, with their own individual style and decor; private entrances; patio and braai / BBQ facilities; TV's and coffee / tea facilities. Serviced daily and supplied with linen and towels; secure onsite parking; swimming pool all in a lovely garden setting. WiFi hotspot.

Breakfast

Breakfast is available on request (Monday to Friday only) in a cosy breakfast nook, where you can enjoy your meal, whilst absorbing the natural vegetation of the surroundings and the Indian Ocean. For early risers, we offer a ‘Breakfast Bag' instead.
