Self Catering Accommodation

Seaside Escape At 505 has three bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. This room has balcony access.

The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the third bedroom is furnished with twin beds. These rooms share a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin.

Guests enter into an open-concept, air-conditioned living space which houses the kitchen and lounge, and boasts gorgeous views of the Dolphin Coast. The fully equipped kitchen offers guests all the conveniences of home including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge and all necessary appliances. It opens into the lounge and indoor dining area with a lovely bar counter for serving meals. A lounge suite offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a break from the sun with a flat-screen Smart TV which is connected to a dedicated fibre line that can stream DStv Now, Netflix and Showmax.

Sliding doors lead onto a semi-covered balcony with a built-in braai and outdoor patio furniture for enjoying holiday meals to the sounds of the waves breaking in the background.

A key point to note is that Umdloti's tidal pool is naturally protected by rocks so it's not affected by strong currents and large waves. This makes it ideal for little kids, elderly people and novice swimmers to enjoy the ocean, and some fun in the sun. Umdloti is a wonderful place that is not too crowded and the locals are super friendly and helpful. The beaches are clean and wonderful for long walks, and the views are magnificent. Be sure to explore the rock pools at low tide.

This charming seaside town is located between Umhlanga and Ballito, at the mouth of the Mdloti River. Umdloti Beach is a coastal conservancy, with surrounding fields of sugar cane and indigenous forests. The area is a prime location for various wildlife sightings, including whales, dolphins and innumerable bird species.
