About Shaka's Seat
Shaka's Seat offers luxury self-catering accommodation, comprising a choice of six suites.
Situated in Shaka's Rock, a stone's throw from the busy town of Ballito, you can sit out on your private undercover wooden deck and watch the dolphins at play, enjoy the spectacular close up sea views or simply take a quick 3 minute stroll down to Catfish Beach. The Shaka's Rock tidal pools are home to plenty of fish and good for a quick dip as well!
Self Catering Accommodation
All suites and cottages are fully furnished and have an en-suite with bath, shower and double vanities. The king size beds are comfortable, with wall mounted flat screen TV's (hotel DStv bouquet). Kitchenettes have dining facilities.
All the suites have our standard big glass sliding stack doors which open out onto the private undercover, furnished wooden decks. The suites accommodate two adults comfortably and some do have room for a third person.
The property is fenced and has a good security system in place. Undercover or shady parking on site and all accommodation is serviced each morning, except Sundays.

Tree Tops Room
The Tree Tops Room has two single beds and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. This unit also has tea and coffee making facilities as well as a TV with DSTV. The stable door which leads out onto a lovely patio with a table and chairs. It overlooks the lovely garden area at Tree Tops height. Unfortunately no sea view and this is not a self catering room.

Dolphins Cottage
Dolphins Cottage is a totally private and secure 2-bedroom unit. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, separate shower and double vanities. The second bedroom is furnished with either a king-size bed or two single beds and has an en-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. The open-plan living area has a small kitchenette, dining area for four and lounge area with a wall-mounted TV. A sliding door leads out to a private, shady patio. The patio has patio furniture, a portable braai and a small garden that is fully fenced, making it ideal for a small dog. Guests can also enjoy sea views through the palm trees. No breaker views, just the blue of the sea.

The shared bathroom is fitted with a corner bath, double shower and double vanities. There is also a separate toilet with washbasin. The kitchenette is fully equipped with fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, mini oven and cooker, crockery and cutlery. There is a dining table with seating for six guests. The large fold-up stack doors open out onto a private, undercover patio with patio furniture and portable braai facilities.

Very nice and quiet localization. Rooms stylish, well equipped kitchen. The only thing, when it is cold like it was in July and you cannot sit outside for eating, there is no normal table to eat at, there are only seats like at a bar. But nevertheless we can recommend it warmly und would book it again.
