Escape to Casa Branca is a self catering beachfront holiday apartment in Umdloti, on the quiet south side of beautiful Beach. Across the road from an untouched non-commercial beach, and within walking distance of some of Durban's finest Italian cuisine, it offers guests a relaxing break away from life to unwind in tranquillity in this calm and stylish space. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to the most exquisite sunrises.

Self Catering Accommodation

Escape to Casa Branca has two bedrooms. The master bedroom is air-conditioned and furnished with a Queen-size bed. The second bedroom is furnished with twin beds. These rooms share a bathroom with a single vanity, shower, bath and toilet. All other rooms have ceiling fans.

A fully equipped kitchen offers guests all the conveniences of a well-established home including a coffee machine, washing machine, fridge and all necessary appliances. It opens into the lounge with a lovely countertop for serving meals. The lounge has a flat-screen, Smart TV which is connected to a dedicated fiber line so that guests can conveniently watch their personal DStv package, and other preferred subscriptions.

The living space leads onto a large balcony outdoor furniture, offering guests glorious views of the coast and the luxury of enjoying their meals to the sounds of the waves breaking in the background.

Attractions

Situated in Umdloti, a hugely popular holiday destination, in the heart of KwaZulu Natal's Dolphin Coast, this seaside unit is a hop skip and jump away from a swimming beach, and a few minutes’ walk from the local tidal pool and some rather impressive shops, bars and restaurants.

A key point to note is that Umdloti's tidal pool is naturally protected by rocks so it's not affected by strong currents and large waves. This makes it ideal for little kids, elderly people and novice swimmers to enjoy the ocean, and some fun in the sun. Umdloti is a wonderful place that is not too crowed and the locals are super friendly and helpful. The beaches are clean and wonderful for long walks, and the views are magnificent. Be sure to explore the rock pools at low tide!
