About Clarke Bay Beach

Just a short 15 minute walk from the main beach in Ballito, Willards Bay, you’ll find the quieter Clarke Bay. The beach is protected by shark nets and there are lifeguards on duty to ensure your safety when you’re in the water, please try to remember to stay within their flags.

This beach has a tidal pool where you can observe the living sea creatures in their natural environment. Perhaps you’ll be lucky enough to find a star fish or even a sea urchin, but please remember not to touch or disturb the creatures.

Don’t forget your bucket and spade so you can build a sandcastle or two and remember to keep your eye on the tide so it doesn’t wash your hard work away too easily. Once you’re done for the day head up to one of the many Ballito Restaurants for a delicious meal.
