Thulamahashe, Panorama Route
The Mpumalanga township of Thulamahashe is in Bushbuckridge and is rated as the best informal settlement in the region. It's well equipped with malls, clinics, sports stadiums, schools, entertainment areas, and more. This vibey residential centre is about an hour from the acclaimed Kruger National Park, which showcases the Big 5 and hundreds more species.
Thulamahashe is locally known as Thulas. It's surrounded by Manyeleti, Mkhuhlu, and Acornhoek; and is a sizeable township that's been divided into zones.
Thulamahashe Plaza is a contemporary, bright mall of almost 22 000 square metres, home to all the major clothing and food stores as well as some unique extras. The nearby stadium hosts the well-known TMF (Thulamahashe Music Festival) every year. Thanks to these and other significant resources, this township is the largest contributor to the local Bushbuckridge economy.
