About Jock Sabie Lodge
Jock-Sabie Lodge is situated in the centre of town, within easy walking distance of Sabie's amenities. Nestling in a misty green valley amidst and the dramatic mountains of Mpumalanga, the historic town of Sabie is an ideal base from which to explore one of South Africa's top tourist destinations, the Panorama Route.
The Panorama Route meanders through magnificent scenery strewn with waterfalls and unique geological formations, excellent hiking, birding and fishing and easy access to the wildlife of the Kruger National Park. Visit the many arts and crafts centres, museums and historical sites in the area.
Our namesake, Jock of the Bushveld, the runt bull-terrier taken on and made legend by Sir Percy Fritzpatrick, was born in the Kruger National Park. Following his routes would make interesting travelling to visitors.
Accommodation
We offer a variety of accommodation: en-suite hotel rooms, self-catering apartments and log chalets all of which are serviced and fully equipped, including color TV. Wheelchair-friendly units are available. In addition, we have youth hostel facilities and dormitories for sporting and school groups.
On Site Facilities
Our Gazebo braai makes for convivial gatherings, with a number of fireplaces clustered under a common roof. Open air, but sheltered, nevertheless.
A swimming pool is the venue for relaxation, exercise and fun, and we have a games room. Exclusive trout and bass fishing trips and day tours to the Kruger Park can be arranged. A vibrant crafts industry will provide you with beautiful mementos of your stay with us.

Jock's pub and restaurant offers a variety of drinks and delicious meals to suit your budget and culinary preferences. A beautiful fireplace will keep you warm and cosy in the winter months. For the African summers we offer a covered wooden deck overlooking our tranquil pool area. Endulge yourself in our personalized menu offering light meals to scrumptious meals that will compliment your taste buds.

From the Receptionist I got a warm welcome after she had got me thru directions. The cabin was great and warm they supplied us with heater as it was a cold weekend, got hot water and yes I got me fix of coffee. Definitely coming back in summer. My partner and I totally agreed we must come back and stay.
