About AfriCamps at Mackers

Beautifully set on the banks of the Sabie River, AfriCamps at Mackers offers boutique tents set metres from the river and surrounded by green grass and indigenous forest. The camp is just a few minutes drive from Hazyview and has easy access to the Panorama Route and the Kruger National Park.

Self Catering Accommodation

The tents have a lounge, well equipped kitchen and dining area as well as a wooden veranda.

There are two bedrooms; both with a Queen-size bed and one bedroom also has a single bunk bed.

The bathroom has a shower only. There is optional cleaning at an additional charge.


Load Shedding Measures

In order to mitigate the effects of load shedding on our guests, we’ve installed battery power backups in each tent at AfriCamps at Mackers for your convenience. These backups ensure uninterrupted lighting and warm water during load shedding periods. Please note that wall plugs won’t be operational during power outages.

This place is really amazing! Don’t be scared by the drive to the camp, just drive carefully. The tents are located next to the Sabie River which is super relaxing and beautiful. All comfort is present and they have the option to order meals in advance.
