Helderberg Village is an upmarket estate in the small Western Cape town of Somerset West. This town is growing, and has almost touched borders with Cape Town, but retains its own charm and allure. The golf course was primarily constructed for the residents here, but has grown in popularity thanks to its challenging holes and pretty surrounds.
The course has been SAGU rated and is ideal for seasoned players or beginners that want to get the most out of their games. It is open to visitors who are in Cape Town or Somerset West on holiday and hankering after a game, or locals that simply know a good course when they see one. The in-house pro shop is an added convenience.
The Helderberg Village Country Club is a fantastic place in which to relax, meet local players and unwind after a day on the fairways. It includes a lounge, ladies’ bar and billiards room, and there are several patios on which to soak up the sunshine and drink in the views. Other facilities at the club include croquet, tennis courts, bowling greens and swimming pools.
