The Elephant House is a lovely holiday home offering self-catering accommodation in Gordons Bay, Cape Town. This is the ideal base for guests who want to explore the area.

Self Catering Accommodation

The Elephant House in Gordons Bay has three bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and desk. This room also has air-conditioning with a remote. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds. The third bedroom is furnished with two single beds that can be joined to form a Queen bed. This room also has a night light for children and a ceiling fan. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower, soaking tub, toilet and double vanity.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and has a gas stove, oven, fridge, microwave and all the necessary utensils. The lounge is comfortable and is equipped with a smart TV with full DStv access. Guests are welcome to sign into their own Netflix our YouTube account. We offer free Wi-Fi during your stay, that is capped at 10GB. We have no load shedding as we have invested in an inverter with back up batteries that keep the lights on and the Wi-Fi running when the power goes out.

Outside is a seating area and braai facilities.

The property is secured by an electric fence and access control with secure on-site parking for one vehicle offered free of charge for the duration of stay.

I liked the excellent hospitality, the privacy, comfortable beds, cleanliness, and availability of all the supplies including beach towels and basic food that were not part of the deal. This place is amazing for its cost. We had many places to visit, and the place itself is convenient for many destinations.
