DINING:
Goombay's Grill: The a la carte restaurant has a large and varied menu of
international food, including a Coquille Saint Jacques au Gratin the famous grilled
scallop dish baked on salt and served with a béarnaise sauce. True to its African roots,
the restaurant also serves a carpaccio of Kalahari Springbok as a starter, then turns to
an Avocado Surprise and calls on the Far East for prawns. The grill also offers a
wonderful array of seafood that includes Benguella prawns, a peri peri calamari steak,
butterfish medallions and kingklip and Whole West Coast Sole. The vegetarian menu includes
Homemade Italian Vegetable Lasagne and Truffled Eggs.
Savuti: This is a quick service restaurant offering an extensive buffet
carvery for lunch and dinner. This is also the venue for an extravagant English Breakfast
or if you prefer, a Continental Breakfast lavishly served with baguettes, croissants and a
variety of jams and cheeses.
Conservatory and Pool Terrace: Guests can enjoy a light snack and
refreshments at this delightful terrace venue. It's tranquil surroundings are relaxing and
gentle. There is a speciality lunch served on Sundays.
