Simbavati Mvubu Cottage offers accommodation in Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. The reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger Park and currently features over 40 mammal species including the Big 5, endangered species such as the wild dog and cheetah and 360 species of bird life.

Accommodation

Simbavatu Mvubu Cottage in Timbavati is a duplex cottage with two bedrooms. The rooms are furnished with King-size beds and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. One of the rooms also has an outdoor shower.

The kitchen is equipped with a stove and oven, a fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a dishwasher. Guests can enjoy their meals at the dining table and relax in the cosy lounge.

The first floor opens onto a balcony with a comfortable day bed, overlooking the beautiful surroundings.

The cottage has a private plunge pool and a viewing deck.

Twice-daily game drives provide for close encounters with birds and animals, large and small.

Accommodation, all meals, two safari activities per day, private safari vehicle, beverages (excluding premium brands and cellar wines). Return transfers from Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport (HDS).
RATES EXCLUDE:
All other drinks, private transfers, gratuities, laundry service, other items of a personal nature. Conservation levies and gate entrance fees.

Timbavati Conservation Levy:
2022: R460 per adult per night and R230 per child under 12 years per night (2022). Will be added to invoices for prepayment, or collected at the lodge directly.

2023: R510 per adult per night and R255 per child under 12 years per night (2022). Will be added to invoices for prepayment, or collected at the lodge directly.

Self-drive guests only: Vehicle entrance fee of R230 is payable at the Timbavati or Klaserie Control Gate for all self-drive guests. (All levies & fees subject to change in 2023.)
