Last Cast at Blue Crane is a quaint holiday home offering accommodation in Dullstroom on Blue Crane Farm. The farm is situated approximately 10 minutes' drive from the well-known fly fishing destination of Dullstroom with all its amenities, shops, restaurants and attractions.

Last Cast at Blue Crane is a self catering holiday home in Dullstroom sleeping four guests.

The main bedroom is furnished with a Queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, basin and toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds and makes use of a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The cottage has an open plan living room with a TV with Netflix, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is a patio with braai facilities and stunning stone boma.

Close to the wetland area, you will be able to not only see the birds building their nests but wake up to the sounds of the various bird calls. Closer to nature you cannot get.

Activities and Attractions

The farm boasts two beautiful dams where guests can enjoy fly fishing. Both dams are stocked with rainbow and brown trout.

Bird watching is also a very popular activity on the farm due to the big variety of land and water bird species that visit. Endangered bird species such as the Crowned Crane and Blue Crane can also be spotted and we have a Blue Crane breeding pair that recently nested on one of the islands in the big dam.

The venue offers beautiful scenery with free roaming game species such as Springbuck, Blesbuck, Zebra, Hartebeest and Vaal Rhebuck. We offer guests the chance to hike or cycle on well-kept paths on the farm.
