Rocklands Eco Retreat offers a tranquil, off-the-grid getaway perched on a cliff with stunning picturesque views of the Rocklands, in the Western Cape. Our eco-friendly shipping container cabin is nestled in the heart of Rocklands. This unique cabin has been thoughtfully designed with natural green and grey interiors, providing a cosy and comfortable stay for nature lovers, couples, and digital nomads alike.

Self Catering Accommodation

Rocklands Eco Retreat container cabin offers a studio-style layout with a comfortable King-size bed and a bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. For the adventurous types, our bed can be moved easily to the deck area and allows you to sleep under the stars and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Take a refreshing outdoor shower and water our Granadilla Plant with the run-off.

The kitchenette is fitted with a gas hob and a fridge. For those who love cooking, we have a plant box with fresh herbs to add some extra flavour to your meals. And for digital nomads, we have dedicated workspaces and free Wi-Fi to keep you connected during your stay. There is also a comfortable sitting area.

Outside is a big deck, which serves as extra lounge space for you to unwind in the fresh mountain air.

Relax in the outdoor bathtub while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Electricity will be provided from solar energy, water will come from a natural spring & borehole and waste will be recycled to leave a minimal carbon footprint.

The dirt/rocky road to the cabin is not tended. Accessible by 4x4 only - or a mere 250 metre walk uphill.
