About Day Trip in Kwantu Game Reserve
Day Trips at Kwantu Private Game Reserve are nothing less than an experience to behold. Welcomed at the beautiful Day Centre, overlooking the Hippo Dam, guests can enjoy the sight of animals at the watering hole, while themselves sipping on a delicious refreshing drink.
Guests can choose to enjoy a Morning trip with a Game Drive, starting at around 09h00, followed by a luncheon, or an Afternoon trip, starting at 14h00, followed by a hearty, delicious dinner and a spectacular show of local traditional dancers. One can also choose a walking safari, discovering the wonder of nature on foot, with the expert knowledge of our experienced rangers.
During the 3-hour Game Drive, guests are treated to Africa's Big Five, 42 mammal species, over 250 bird species, a variety of reptiles and insects, as well as rare species such as Bengal Tigers at the Predator Education and Rehabilitation Centre.
Wheelchair dependent guests are assured that Kwantu offers every amenity to cater for your needs, making the day no less of the enriching journey it is. An optional tour of the village of Sidbury provides a historic meander of the region and is an ideal conclusion to a an unforgettable African experience at Kwantu.
