AfriCamps Addo offers accommodation in Addo in eight boutique glamping tents overlooking rolling green hills at the heart of adventure in Addo. Located on the beautiful Hayterdale Trails property at the foothill of the Zuurberg Mountains, the camp offers easy access to 50 km of scenic mountain biking, trail running, and hiking routes through Yellowwood forests and across rolling hills of valley bushveld dotted with ancient cycads.

Self Catering Accommodation

Each glamping tent consists of an outdoor wood-fired hot tub or splash pool, a spacious open plan lounge area with a comfortable couch, a dining area with a solid wooden table and seating for five guests, a fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms that comfortably sleeps five guests, and a bathroom complete with hot shower, flushing toilet and washbasin.

Both bedrooms are furnished with an extra-length Queen-size bed and have their own private entrance which allows maximum privacy. One of the bedrooms also has a single bunk bed.

The tents are equipped with an indoor fireplace and ceiling fans. To take full advantage of the stunning views at AfriCamps Addo, the tents sport a spacious L-shaped deck and five expansive canvas panels that offer guests an immersive outdoor experience with unparalleled views of the natural surroundings.

Enjoy a braai on our spacious wooden decks and take in the views from the comfortable deck loungers. Soak in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub.

There is a communal swimming pool on site. We offer a complimentary basic cleaning service for four-night stays or longer. Firewood and firelighters are available to purchase at the camp. Pick up a few bags for the indoor fireplace, braai, and outdoor wood-fired hot tub when checking in. Fully solar powered.

Explore 50km of mountain bike trails against the backdrop of the picturesque Zuurberg Mountains. Our routes cover diverse terrain including marathon trails, cross-country tracks, and gravel jeep tracks. Our trail running and hiking routes lead to the more secluded corners of the property. Enjoy the stunning views of the orchards, Addo Elephant National Park, and Nelson Mandela Bay from the summit of Zuurberg pass or GZT bridge. Bring your birding guide and binoculars.
