The golfers of Pretoria know the prettiness and the challenges of the Akasia Country Club well. They drink in the views of the Magaliesberg Mountain Range while they soak up the warmth of the South African sunshine, just 10 kilometres outside of the centre of Tshwane. But, they are not keeping all of the fun to themselves, and visitors from all over the world are welcome to visit Akasia for a day on the fairways.

The Akasia Country Club was developed by a landscaper, and the gorgeous greens and fairways are complemented by typically South African acacia trees and a number of water hazards. Negotiating the trees and the hazards makes for a fair challenge and plenty of fun. This course is also notable for having five par fives and five par threes.

Tee times are welcomed and the club is open all week and all year round. There is a pro shop here, as well as a driving range. Clubs and carts are available for hire. The club house is a popular spot for a cold drink and a warm chat with locals and other golfing enthusiasts. There are also conferencing and events facilities at the Akasia Country Club, making it the optimal meeting spot for friends, families and business associates.
