About Excuse my French
‘Excuse my French’ is a French creperie in an unusual setting, next door to the well-known ‘Railway House’ shop in Kalk Bay, on the ‘sea side’ of the Main Road.
The menu comprises of a variety of crepe fillings, ranging from savoury cheesy fillings, through to sweet fillings, such as Nutella and cream.
Bordering on the railway line, Excuse my French is one of the only restaurants in Kalk Bay with such close proximity to the ocean. The rustic setting adds to its charm and adds authenticity to the experience. Enjoy your crepe with good coffee and watch the ocean from where you’re seated. If you’re fond of the table and chairs, you’re welcome to buy them, as everything has a price tag!
If you’re looking for a quick breakfast or a light lunch with an unbeatable view and relaxed atmosphere, this French creperie is a wonderful experience. If you wake up craving pancakes, this is the place to head to.
