About Central Hotel Guest House
Offering bed and breakfast accommodation, the Central Hotel Guest House dates back to 1828 and forms part of Simons Town's historical mile. The building was bought by the Ohlsson's Cape Breweries in 1894 and was converted into the Central Hotel, as part of the Breweries' drive to own as many hotels as possible in order to promote beer sales!
Accommodation
After a number of renovations the Central Hotel Guest House offers nine comfortable en-suite rooms with beautiful Victorian dècor and a touch of modern flair.
Room 1 - Honeymoon En-Suite:
This deluxe suite is situated on our balcony. The comfortable and spacious suite has elegant, handcrafted Victorian furniture and a lovely lounge area to relax and enjoy the view.
Rooms 2 and 3 - Balcony En-Suites:
These rooms are furnished with double beds and have an en-suite shower. They are positioned on the balcony and have lovely views of False Bay.
Rooms 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 9 – Corridor / Courtyard En-Suites:
Situated on the corridor and beautiful courtyard, these rooms have two single beds in each room and an en suite bathroom or shower.

Location
We are centrally situated with some of the best views in Simons Town and are within walking distance to numerous restaurants. Simons Town is rich in history, character, atmosphere and lots of warmth.
Our neighbours are whales, penguins and seals with world heritage status bird life, famous deep sea fishing and the beauty of Table Mountain and Cape Point. Our balcony overlooks the South African Naval Base and Yacht Club with views that will take your breath away!
