About the Litchi Festival

The annual Litchi Festival is once again set to rock the spectacular Dolphin Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Although the focus here is often on the sun, sea, and sand, this festival is all about fun and celebrating the fresh flavours of the delicious litchi fruit.

Salt Rock, just north of Ballito, is the host area of this exciting event.

Enjoy the picturesque setting as you indulge in these sweet treats. Food and drinks will be available.

Only cash is accepted as there are no card facilities at the festival.

This is such a popular event that it has been held every year since 2006. Don’t miss out on the fun and festivity, all to be found along the gorgeous eastern coastline of South Africa. Salt Rock is less than an hour away from Durban and its King Shaka International Airport.

NOTE: Entrance fee is R160 (CASH ONLY) per person, this includes eating as many as you can while picking and taking home 1.6 kg Litchi’s and a Tractor Ride.

OPENING TIMES: Daily times are from 09h00 to 15h00. We are closed on 24th and 25th December.
