About Elberti Wines

Elberti Wines is a family-run business with Eppie, Pieter and Hubre Steyn behind the wheel. Agriculture is said to run in their veins as Eppie is the specialist in agricultural irrigation, Pieter studied wine chemistry and creates the wine whilst Hubre brings her creativity to the packaging and presentation of these wines.

Their absolute love and enthusiasm of winemaking provides the cornerstone for each wine made. They do not have their own cellar and currently rent cellar space. They have carefully selected the best grapes for their wines which are resting on oak at present. They aim to work quite closely with nature and allow the wine to mimic the changes in climate and terroir of the Cape. Elberti wines are produced to allow the wine lover to go on a journey.

Starting at the grape, leading through the fermentation tank into the oak barrel and straight into the bottle where time will only make it better. The end result will be a superb wine for you to enjoy at any time with friends and a meal. Their three ranges include Dawning, Sojourn and Cape Cana. The Sojourn Cape Blend is made of Pinotage 58% Cabernet Sauvignon 28% and Merlot 14%. It will delight with elements of dried apricots, berry jam, banana and butterscotch.
