On the slopes of the magnificent Olifants River Mountain Range, on the West Coast of South Africa, is the pretty little town of Porterville. This historical, small town is home to Koppikofi Restaurant, which was established some years ago as a comfortable spot to enjoy good food. Its name is a colloquial, Afrikaans expression that translates to “cup of coffee”.
Koppikofi is fully licensed, and is particularly popular amongst locals and visitors alike for its excellent pizzas, which are prepared and cooked on the veranda, right in front of the diners. The rest of the menu is varied and comprehensive, tailored to suit a variety of palates and preferences. It comprises hearty and light breakfasts, tasty starters and delicious meals, as well as homely favourites; including pies and stews. Delicious, decadent desserts include lemon meringue, chocolate cake and creamy cheesecake.
Open from 08h00 to 22h00, Koppikofi is conveniently situated on the main road of Porterville, amidst the stunning surrounds of the untouched parts of the Western Cape Province. Koppikofi is the perfect place at which to refresh and refuel while exploring the beautiful countryside of this part of South Africa.
